I gave thee a king in mine anger, and took him away in my wrath. I will be thy king.
I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.
I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
I will be as the dew unto Israel.
I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations.
Will I raise up the tabernacle of David .. And close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old.
I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel.
I will plant them upon their land. (which) I have given them.
the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God. For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.
[as] I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee
the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.
all thy children [shall be] taught of the LORD;
I will make an everlasting covenant with you, [even] the sure mercies of David.
it (Israel’s peace and joy) shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign [that] shall not be cut off.
before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden,
the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion,
When] the poor and needy seek water, and [there is] none, [and] their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness (and desert) (rich trees.) (That they may understand) that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.
shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people; and for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment; and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river(Euphrates) unto the stream of Egypt, (regather Israel as single grains falling out of nations)
He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root:
(all) the LORD hath bestowed on us,
the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
I will make thee(Israel) a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth:
The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.
He LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel:
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory:
Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.
They shall be fat and flourishing;
That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity
When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.
(loose prisoner)To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
I will bring Israel again to his habitation,
I will pardon them whom I reserve.
The LORD hath brought forth our righteousness:
I will cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth .
he hath glorified thee.
I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron:
I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.
the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
the LORD shall be thine everlasting light,
they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
I the LORD will hasten it in his time.
ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: [men] shall call you the Ministers of our God:
I the LORD love judgment,
I will direct their work in truth,
I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,
he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh/bride adorneth
the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth/bud before all the nations.
the mouth of the LORD shall name (Israel with a new name).
Israel shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
the LORD delighteth in thee(Israel), [as] the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, [so] shall thy God rejoice over thee.
he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
And gathered them out of the lands,
Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:
God answereth [him?] in the joy of his heart. (thus forget past evil)
God bringeth back the captivity of his people,
Thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
Reign over restored Israel:
the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.
(I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: I will consecrate their(other nations) gain unto the LORD).
I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots.
And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities.
And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds.
And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand;.
Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.
I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride.
I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people.
The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee.
The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
Redeem from enemy:
The LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.
Will I shew unto him marvellous things (like coming out of Egypt)
I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them.
I have lifted up mine hand.(swearing to revenge heathen)
Redeem from enemy later:
Thus saith the LORD against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.
after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again,
I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation (if not obey)
I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, [even] the dregs of the cup of my fury; I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee;
I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh;
(God) pleadeth the cause of his people,
I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee;
he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.
Thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.
And I am very sore displeased with the heathen that are at ease: for I was but a little displeased, and they helped forward the affliction.
I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies.
For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.
when seventy years are accomplished, [that] I will punish the king of Babylon, for their iniquity, -make it perpetual desolations.
all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.
I will punish all that oppress them.
