God of Israel:
(The believer is a child of Abraham(Gal 3,Rm 4/9) not Israel, regardless, we taste God’s character here)
the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth;
I am the LORD thy(Israel) God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
I [am] the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts [is] his name.
thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob/Israel
thy Maker [is] thine(Israel’s) husband; the LORD of hosts [is] his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
the Holy One of Israel/Jacob
The Portion of Jacob
Israel’s God, Savior, and Redeemer
I am a father to Israel (Ephraim:firstborn)
Israel is His son
I am the LORD your (Israel) God.
the LORD is our defence;
the King of Israel
Jacob: my servant/whom I’ve chosen
Israel: mine inheritance/rod of inheritance/heritage/pleasant portion/witness/His chosen servant/holy one
Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen: (He) made thee, and formed thee from the womb, [which] will help thee; Jesurun(Israel), whom I have chosen.
thou [art] my servant: I have formed thee; thou [art] my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
formed thee from the womb,
I [am] the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way [that] thou shouldest go.
The LORD require of thee: to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.
My people, My nation
I gave thee (thine heritage);
I, [even] I, [am] he that comforteth you:
thou(Zion) [art] my people.
I set My statutes before you and fathers.
He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
I have put my words in thy mouth,
I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand,
I called him(Abraham) alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
I chose Israel
I loved Jacob.
I have loved you/thee(virgin of Israel) with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
the maker and fashioner of Jerusalem/defenses
Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Jacob his chosen.
the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.
He hath not dealt so with any nation:
my servant Jacob,
I remember thee(Israel)
God led thee by the way
I have given (things to Judah)
Jacob my servant
I [am] with thee;
The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved.
He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
The LORD God of hosts (spake at Bethel); the LORD is his(Jacob’s) memorial.
I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.
And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
The LORD hath appeared of old unto me,(Israel-telling His love)
I will build thee,
with supplications(weeping) will I lead them:
I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble:
I went to cause him(Israel that escaped the sword) to rest.
I have nourished and brought up children
Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
His name is great in Israel.
God testified to Israel
I have given land to my servant Jacob.
I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.
I am their(Israel’s) inheritance/possession.
the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it(Israel?), to establish it; the LORD [is] his name;
thou [art] our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, [art] our father, our redeemer; thy name [is] from everlasting.
I the LORD do keep it (vineyard Israel); I will water it every moment: lest [any] hurt it, I will keep it night and day. Fury [is] not in me: who would set the briers [and] thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together. Or let him take hold of my strength, [that] he may make peace with me; [and] he shall make peace with me.
When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms.
I healed them.
I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them. How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? How shall I deliver thee, Israel? How shall I make thee as Admah? How shall I set thee as Zeboim? Mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together. I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.
And I that am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee(Israel) to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.
I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.
By a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.
I did know thee in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.
I destroyed the Amorite before Israel. I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years.
I raised up of your sons for prophets.
Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt.
Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock;
The favour that thou bearest unto thy people
Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it. Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.
thy right hand hath planted (vinyard- Israel) thou madest (the branch-Isreal) strong for thyself.
